Darren West     Neon Artist

Darren West is a established neon artist with a small neon studio in West Sussex.  He is a master craftsman of the 100 year old trade of neon glass blowing and has transformed his traditional commercial work into extraordinary and illuminating art.  Starting at the age of 17 and studying at the British School of Neon, Darren has learnt this rare trade after many years of training and learning and has been supplying neon signage ever since. He is now delving deeper into the world of wall based neon art and sculptures and he is producing some of the most eye-catching, dazzling and unforgettable pieces which harmonize and compliment the modern art world spectacularly.

Darren has had great success with galleries all over the United Kingdom and interest from the European art world, has worked within the television and music industry and has featured in magazine articles and newspapers. He has worked alongside big names within the fashion industry and always conjures up much excitement wherever introduced.  With bespoke designs and a contemporary vision, Darren’s thriving business selling this collectable and distinctive neon art is most definitely an amazing example of modern art at its most superior.

Darren has collaborated with other up and coming artists and is always creating new and stunning and evocative neon art pieces. More recently Darren has been working with Gary Hutchins of Hutchins Guitars designing a range of neon guitar art. This exhibition is currently being shown in Brighton and due to tour around the country with shows planned for London.
