MU is an imaginative and versatile modular furniture system specifically created for contemporary lifestyles. The range is branded with a word — and an idea — derived from Zen philosophy, which truly brings out its harmonious, unobtrusive inner identity. The latest addition to the most technologically advanced, well-conceived and exclusively constructed outdoor furniture collections in the world, MU bears the signature of the French designer Toan Nguyen, who has worked closely with Antonio Citterio and is renowned for his collaborations with such distinguished design brands such as B&B, Vitra, Flos, Walter Knoll and Technogym. The MU collection gave him the opportunity to apply his creative experience and expertise to the field of modular furniture. MU offers an unprecedented combination of sophisticated lightness, energy and versatility to garden furniture through a vast range of sofas, day-beds, benches, coffee tables and side tables. All these elements are of different designs, and are available in sizes as varied as the functions they perform. Their slender and compact structures allow you to utilize them exactly as you wish, according to your personal taste and preferences. It really does justice to the incredible handiwork of DEDON ’s master craftsmen — and to this collection’s exclusive design.   Now, for the first time ever, seating accessories have been fitted with an ultra-light Ferrari Batyline interior support, which strengthens and supports structure and considerably enhances comfort while preventing cushions from slipping. Crafted on the physics of multidensity, their shapes expand to the point where they cover the structure’s edges, thus rounding them off comfortably. MU is characterized by warm, light hues as well darker tones. Both color ways are sophisticated and simple, blending perfectly with the natural environment. MU has been defined by Toan Nguyen as a very discreet furnishing system, which does without superfluous volume, materials and decoration — “a sofa which, at first glance."
